Enjoying Arizona's constant sunshine

After two years of terrible British weather and no sun, my two sisters glory in the constant sunshine, warmth and Arizona colors. What fun! Indian ruins, a Wildlife Museum, Western movie studio and replica town, a Stagecoach Ride (How did those people go two thousand miles in those things!!), and Desert Gardens have been part of our last week - with lots more fun ahead.
We thoroughly enjoyed an Indian museum which had many books written by Indians. There is something about their simple logic that I greatly enjoy and it did bring to mind one of my favorite stories; An old Cherokee was talking to his grandson and told him about the battle that goes on inside people. He said the battle is between two wolves. One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego. The other one is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith. The grandson thought for a minute and then asked his grandfather "which wolf wins?". The old Cherokee simply replied - The one you feed!
Love that one.
